Tish's Vision for Elgin

Elgin is strongest when it serves everyone

As an experienced leader, community volunteer and mother, I am committed to ensuring that Elgin remains a great place to live, work, play, do business and raise a family. During my tenure on the Elgin City Council, I have supported policies to ensure that Elgin remains a safe, affordable community with a high quality of life, excellent city services and a sustainable future. I envision the next step for our community is to become a. destination for arts, culture and entertainment in the suburbs. I believe that by engaging a variety of key stakeholders and thinking “outside of the box”, we can make Elgin a unique entertainment hub, spurring economic development and investment in our community.
